Campings staat in de titel tussen aanhalingstekens. Want eigenlijk kun je de onderstaande kampeermogelijkheden geen campings noemen. Het zijn vaak plekken in een tuin, in een boom- of wijngaard, of bij een boerderij. Deze kampeerplekken worden door een organisatie samengebracht via de website Homecamper Campspace.
Je kunt niet direct bij de eigenaar reserveren en zelfs het adres staat niet nauwkeurig vermeld. Velen zijn daarom ook niet te vinden via Google. Homecamper Campspace heeft ze wel gevonden en via hen kun je info inwinnen en reserveren.
Deze kampeerplekken zijn speciaal voor hen die eigenlijk niet op een camping willen staan. De meeste ‘campings’ hebben maar 4 plekken, soms zelfs maar 1 of 2 en andere 5 -10. Een toilet en elektriciteit zijn er ook op de meeste plekken, maar elektriciteit kan zeer beperkt zijn. Op sommige wordt ook naturisme geaccepteerd. Toilet hebben ze allemaal, maar soms is dit een dry-toilet/composttoilet. Verder geven ze ook aan of je met een daktent mag komen. Douche is vaak een solar douche.
